The symphonic spring season at the Teatro Filarmonico features more exciting premieres in its May programme.

Conductor Stepan Armasar makes his debut at the helm of the Fondazione Arena’s ensembles with major symphonic-choral works: Beethoven’s cantata Calm Sea and Prosperous Voyage sets Goethe’s verses to music, while Brahms’s Song of Destiny adapts those of Hölderlin. This compendium of German Romanticism will culminate in the Verona premiere of the suite from Parsifal, Wagner’s mystical and solemn final opera.
