About

Chen and Cilona, young artists who have already won prestigious awards and are increasingly making waves on the international scene, make their debut with the Fondazione Arena Orchestra in a programme dedicated to the nuances of the 19th century, set against the backdrop of the northern winds.

On the one hand, an affectionate tribute to Mozart and his era through the Rococo virtuosity of the cello; on the other, the Romantic fervour inspired in Mendelssohn by a journey to Scotland. The concert opens with the little-known Spring Overture by the now-forgotten Goetz, a German composer born on the Baltic coast.
