About

To crown the complete Brahms cycle undertaken in recent years, Fondazione Arena di Verona is openings its 2027 Symphonic Season with the rarely performed German Requiem.

An ambitious work, epic in scope and scale yet intimate and poignant, fascinating and moving, much like the composer’s deeply personal relationship with the Scriptures.

Taking the baton for the first time at the helm of the Arena’s ensembles will be Maestro Gianandrea Noseda.
