About

A violin virtuoso, who is also making a name for himself as a conductor, the Dane Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider makes his debut with the Fondazione Arena di Verona Orchestra in the dual role of soloist and conductor in Beethoven’s monumental Violin Concerto.

This event brings the 2027 Symphony Season and the concerts celebrating Beethoven’s bicentenary to a close, ahead of the choral Ninth Symphony that will open the Arena Festival.

Rounding off the programme is Brahms’s Fourth Symphony – the expressive pinnacle of a composer who, more than any other, engaged with Beethoven and his symphonic legacy.
