The acclaimed pianist Lucas Debargue makes his debut with the Arena’s ensembles, offering a personal interpretation of Schumann’s romantic Concerto, one of the most intense and beloved works in the international repertoire.

On the podium is Maestro Kristjan Järvi, also making his debut at the helm of the Verona orchestra, an ambassador for the music of the Baltic states all around the world. The programme includes the powerful Second Symphony by the Finnish composer Sibelius, a passionate ode to the Nordic awakening, almost thirty years after its last performance at the Fondazione Arena’s historic venue.
