“Libiamo, libiamo ne’ lieti calici” in honour of Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata, the world’s most performed opera, which is returning to the Arena with the last sumptuous 19th century production created by Franco Zeffirelli with the refined costumes of Maurizio Millenotti. In spite of an unfavourable destiny, Violetta and Alfredo will love each another from 2nd July to 1st September 2022 (a total of 8 performances) in the name of that sentiment that ”is the pulse/Of the whole universe/Mysterious and proud/Torture and delight to the heart!"
