The Arena di Verona Opera Festival is more inclusive than ever
The Arena di Verona Opera Festival is more inclusive than ever
The fourth edition of Arena per Tutti will feature 26 fully accessible evenings.
On 19 of these evenings, audience members with disabilities and their carers will be able to take part free of charge in guided tours and workshops before the opera:
In 2026, new sensory workshops dedicated to music and dance will be introduced: under the guidance of orchestra musicians and dancers, participants will be able to handle musical instruments first-hand and understand how dance movements take shape on stage.
The 2026 accessible tools will be available soon.
As part of the Arena per Tutti project, a range of services and digital materials has been developed to meet the needs of people with sensory and intellectual disabilities, offering a truly inclusive opera experience.
The following services and digital materials are currently available in Italian, English, and German for the operas Aida, La Traviata, Rigoletto, Nabucco, Carmen, Turandot, and Il Barbiere di Siviglia, with plans to expand the offering in the coming seasons.
