Verdi Opera Night will highlight the 96^th edition of the Festival on Sunday 26^th August at 9:30 pm. The magic special event dedicated to the “Swan of Busseto” pays tribute to great opera with a true “parade of stars” conducted by Andrea Battistoni, with direction by Stefano Trespidi, set design by Michele Olcese and lighting design by Paolo Mazzon, projection design by Sergio Metalli and choreography by Luc Bouy.

The director Stefano Trespidi explains: «This is a unique opportunity to see three immortal operas in one evening, by means of a scenically complete act for each of the three operas, thanks also to a new agile stage layout that enables rapid extremely effective set changes. This new production of the 2018 Festival brings together all the in-house skills of the Arena di Verona, with direction, scenery, costumes, choreography, lighting and projections realized specifically for this exceptional event.»
