Two masterpiece symphonies for the last 2024 appointment with the Arena Orchestra: Franz Schubert's Unfinished Symphony and Gustav Mahler's Heavenly Life. Schubert's vertigo and romantic anxieties are revived in the most classical and Viennese of Mahler's creations, in search of a serenity veiled in melancholy. The paradise imagined by the children is sung by Mojca Erdmann. Debuting with the Veronese ensembles is Wolfram Christ, already a legendary first viola with the Berliner.
