About

A flash, a dream, a game... La Cenerentola is all this and more. Rossini's masterpiece returns to the stage of the Teatro Filarmonico after ten years in a new production by the Teatro del Maggio Fiorentino with an outstanding cast of bel canto singers and young talents under the baton of the acclaimed Maestro Francesco Lanzillotta. Angelina's story is about the triumph of goodness, from the bullying she suffers from her stepsisters and her funny stepfather, to her meeting with Prince Ramiro - who swaps robes with the faithful and wild waiter Dandini. In place of the fairy, the good heart of Alidoro, who observes the humble protagonist and will do anything to reward her.

An unmissable opportunity to rediscover a great opera classic, listen to some of Rossini's most beautiful and famous pages, between bel canto and funny tongue twisters, and to relive the most beautiful of fairy tales.
