Riccardo Rados

Riccardo Rados was born in Trieste in 1992, where he studied singing at the Tartini Conservatory.

In 2015, he made his debut in Tosca in the roles of Cavaradossi and Spoletta with the Associazione Italiana dei Milanesi in Austria, Germany, and Luxembourg. He subsequently made his debut in Madama Butterfly (Pinkerton), La Traviata (Alfredo), and Un Ballo in maschera (Riccardo) with the Compagnia d'Opera Italiana of Milan.

He made his debut at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Macbeth (Malcolm) under the baton of Riccardo Muti, having been personally selected by the Maestro, and later reprised the role in Ravenna and at the charity event in support of the populations affected by the earthquakes in Abruzzo, Marche, Umbria, and Lazio. In 2018, he performed the role of Ismaele in Nabucco at the Teatro Alighieri in Ravenna and the Teatro Comunale in Ferrara, a role he reprised the following year at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste. In 2019, he sang Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly in Trieste and at the Fondazione Teatro Nuovo Giovanni da Udine, and made his debut as Pollione in Norma at the Ravenna Festival. He took part in the production of Aroldo on the Emilia-Romagna theatre circuit and in Aida at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples. Notable performances include concerts at the Berlin Philharmonie and Heilbronn Symphony Hall, as well as a performance at the invitation of the President of Ireland for the "Garden Party."

He made his Arena di Verona debut in 2021 in Aida, both in concert form (as the Messenger) conducted by Riccardo Muti and in the staged production. He also performed Peppe in Pagliacci, Ismaele in Nabucco, and the Prince of Persia in Turandot. In 2022, he returned for Aida, Nabucco, and Pang in Turandot. In 2023, at the Teatro Filarmonico, he performed the Messenger in Aida and Laertes in Faccio's Amleto; at the Arena, he sang Matteo Borsa in Rigoletto, Ismaele and Abdallo in Nabucco, and the Messenger in Aida, roles he reprised at the Arena in both 2025 and 2026.
