Antonio Poli is one of the most highly regarded Italian tenors of his generation, acclaimed for his refined lyricism, stylistic elegance, and expressive intensity. Established as a leading interpreter of the bel canto, Mozart, and Verdi repertoire, he performs at the world's foremost opera houses and festivals, collaborating with internationally renowned conductors and stage directors. Throughout his career, he has portrayed some of the most significant tenor roles in the repertoire, including Alfredo in La Traviata, the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto, Ernani, Riccardo in Un ballo in maschera, Macduff in Macbeth, Carlo in I masnadieri, Pollione in Norma, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Idomeneo, and Tito in La clemenza di Tito. He is a regular guest at prestigious institutions including Teatro alla Scala, the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Verdi Festival in Parma, the Salzburg Festival, the Royal Opera House in London, the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Teatro Real in Madrid, the Staatsoper Berlin, and the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Alongside his operatic career, he maintains an active concert schedule, performing major works from the sacred and symphonic repertoire, including Mozart's Requiem, Verdi's Requiem, Penderecki's Polish Requiem, and Bach's Magnificat, in collaboration with leading orchestras and conductors on the international music scene.

He appears on the stage of the Verona amphitheatre as part of the 103rd Arena Opera Festival 2026.
