Anna Werle has established herself internationally for her interpretive intensity and the versatility of her repertoire, which ranges from bel canto to the German and Wagnerian repertoire. In recent years she has made her debut in major European and international theatres: Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Háta in The Bartered Bride at the Wiener Staatsoper, Waltraute in Die Walküre at the Opernhaus Zürich under the baton of Gianandrea Noseda, Brangäne in Tristan und Isolde at the Sofia National Opera and the Teatro Petruzzelli, as well as Orlofsky at the NCPA in Beijing and Fenena in Nabucco at the Arena di Verona Opera Festival. She collaborates with conductors such as Antonio Pappano, Marc Minkowski, Cornelius Meister, Marc Albrecht and Constantin Trinks.

In the 2025/26 season she makes her debut as Carmen at the Sofia Opera House. At the same time, she maintains an intense concert schedule with works by Mahler, Verdi, Beethoven and Rossini, performing in prestigious halls such as the Berliner Dom, the Konzerthaus Berlin and the Gewandhaus Leipzig.

Born in Berlin, she studied at the University of the Arts with Robert Gambill and perfected her skills with Brigitte Fassbaender, Montserrat Caballé and Grace Bumbry. She is on the stage of the Veronese amphitheatre for the 103° Arena Opera Festival.
