What makes Italy so special? Art, music and the food we bring to the table.
Come and join us in the Arena on 5 June to celebrate a unique record: Italy is the country with the highest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites! And in recent years, Italian opera singing and our cuisine have also joined this illustrious list.
It will be a huge national celebration, broadcast around the world live on Rai 1, Italy’s national television channel. And we would love you to be part of it. Tickets are on sale now at a promo price, so grab yours!
An unprecedented show will light up two epic sets at the exact same time.
In the Arena, the stage will host a great show with some of the most iconic scenes in opera.
With awesome sets, the legendary Festival costumes and over five hundred artists on stage, including opera legends and rock stars (with Plácido Domingo, Vittorio Grigòlo and Patti Smith the first confirmed guests), mimes, dancers and the full Arena orchestra and chorus.
Piazza Bra will host a spectacular tribute to Italian cuisine. Live on screen, through spectacular performances, we will see a huge open-air dinner under the stars for a thousand people, celebrating an excellence that gained World Heritage status just last year.
The event will also be the official launch of the UNESCO Heritage candidacy of Classic Neapolitan Song, featuring some of the voices that have helped forge its legend (including Sal Da Vinci, Gigi d'Alessio and Serena Rossi, with a special video appearance by Massimo Ranieri).
Tickets are already available and from today they are on sale: until May 25 you can secure a place in the Verdi, Puccini and Rossini sectors at 50% off. An opportunity not to be missed.
We can't wait to celebrate together!
The evening will be produced by Fondazione Arena di Verona with the support of the Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry for Sport and Youth, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
