Registration open for 2026/2027 training courses
Registrations are now open for the 2026/2027 singing programmes for children aged 3 to 14. Following this year’s pilot edition, Fondazione Arena di Verona renews its commitment to younger generations. The call for applications to participate in the upcoming activities and the Children’s Choir is already available on the website www.arena.it.
The programme aims to introduce children to musical practice, supporting them in developing their vocal, expressive and interpretative potential through various activities focused on interdisciplinary education and the development of musical sensitivity.
The initiative forms part of a broader project dedicated to safeguarding, protecting and promoting the practice of opera singing, recognised since 2023 as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. One of the UNESCO heritages that will be celebrated during the special event Champions of the World: Italy loves UNESCO on Friday, 5 June in the Arena.
The 2026/2027 training programme will begin in October and continue until May 2027. Two courses are also planned for the next edition: a preparatory course for children aged 3 to 7 and an advanced course for children and teenagers aged 7 to 14.
The lessons, lasting approximately one hour, will take place in the afternoon at Fondazione Arena venues. During the activities, children and teenagers will have the opportunity to learn how to use their voices consciously, take part in choral exercises and participate in stage workshops.
During the year, the young performers may take part in operas, concerts and events organised by Fondazione Arena as choir members, in solo roles or as child extras, should opportunities arise.

Applications must be submitted using the dedicated registration form available at https://bit.ly/corovocibianchearena2627 by 11:00 a.m. on Monday, 23 August 2026.
During the auditions, which will take place on Tuesday, 1 September and Sunday, 6 September, each participant will be asked to perform a piece of their choice, of any genre, together with pitch and musical ability exercises.
