Martina Russomanno

She began her artistic career at an early age as an actress and pop singer for Disney Channel in Italy. After her classical studies in Livorno, she was a student of Michéle Crider at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, where in 2021 she made her debut as Vitellia in La Clemenza di Tito.
She then attended the Opera Studio of the Paris Opéra (2021/2023), and took part in the Young Singers Project of the Salzburg Festival in 2022, which allowed her to make her debut in Christof Loy's Trittico.
Recently she has performed Amenaide (Tancredi) at the Opera di Roma, Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) at the Stuttgart Opera and the Semperoper Dresden, Violetta (La Traviata) at the Komische Oper, in addition to having performed on stages such as the Teatro alla Scala (Dircé in Médée, Bianca in La rondine), Teatro Regio di Torino (Massenet's Manon, Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Princesse Eudoxie in La Juive), Paris Opéra (Clorinda in La Cenerentola, Drusilla/Fortuna in L'Incoronazione di Poppea), Rossini Opera Festival (Corinna in Il Viaggio a Reims), Deutsche Oper Berlin (Madama Cortese in Il Viaggio a Reims), the Simón Bolivar Hall in Venezuela conducted by Maestro Gustavo Dudamel (Marzelline in Fidelio), and the Heinz Hall with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (Beethoven's Ninth Symphony).
A finalist in the Neue Stimmen 2024, she won prizes at the Portofino International Opera Competition (2020), Duschek Competition in Prague, AsLiCo Competition (2021) and Vincerò Competition (2021). In 2022 she received the Cercle Carpeaux Award at the Paris Opéra and in 2023 the Jeune Talent Musique & Vin.
In 2026 she is on the stage of the 103° Arena di Verona Opera Festival.
