Alessandra Di Giorgio

Alessandra Di Giorgio is a young dramatic soprano, winner of the “Special Golden Opera – Puccini” award at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma. Her most notable engagements include productions such as Un ballo in maschera (Teatro Colón, Buenos Aires), Les Contes d’Hoffmann (Hamburgische Staatsoper), Aida (Arena di Verona; Teatro Massimo di Palermo), Turandot (Opera Naples; National Centre for the Performing Arts, Beijing), Carmen (Teatro Massimo Bellini, Catania), Don Giovanni (Donna Elvira – Florida Grand Opera), Lady Macbeth, Tosca, Il tabarro, Stiffelio, Andrea Chénier, Madama Butterfly, La forza del destino, Adriana Lecouvreur, La Gioconda, Otello (Desdemona) and Cavalleria rusticana (Santuzza).

On the concert stage, she performs Verdi’s Requiem in major international venues, including the Berliner Philharmonie, the Philharmonie de Paris and the Versailles Festival.

Winner of numerous international competitions, including the Hariclea Darclée gold medal, the Vienna International NY Competition and the Alcamo International Competition, she is rapidly building an international career, collaborating with conductors such as D. Renzetti, S. Ranzani, G. Bisanti, D. Jurowski, E. Mazzola and D. Oren.

She made her debut at the Teatro Filarmonico di Verona in 2023 as Giorgetta in Il Tabarro and in 2026 at the Arena di Verona for the 103° Arena Opera Festival 2026, performing the title role of Aida in the opera of the same name directed by Stefano Poda.
