Just a stone’s throw from the Arena di Verona, in the majestic seventeenth-century Palazzo della Gran Guardia, an exclusive experience awaits: a private bar and elegant lounge to welcome guests in a unique atmosphere.
The tasting space, designed in collaboration with Vinitaly and managed by Infront, celebrates the excellence of Italian wine and gastronomy.
The experience
A voyage to discover the excellence of ‘Made in Italy’ quality, involving some of the country’s finest labels, in the elegant loggia of Palazzo Gran Guardia.
The star of the experience is Vinitaly, with a wine shop bringing together carefully selected labels, a symbol of Italian wine-making excellence. A wine shop showcasing local wines will round off the experience, including the official sponsor of the Fondazione Arena di Verona, Sartori Collis Heritage and the partner wineries of the Arena di Verona (Masi Agricola, Allegrini, Pasqua Vini, Tommasi Family Estates, Villa della Torre - Marilisa Allegrini).
The project, curated and managed by Infront, combines the best of Italian wine and gastronomy: the experience features six glasses of wine accompanied by national culinary excellence, in the form of a refined standing dinner.

How it works
The experience is available for all Arena show nights from 4th July to 31st August, with a maximum limit of 200 attendees per night. You can add Vinitaly, The Opera's Overture when buying a ticket for the show. The experience will begin at 7:00 p.m., until the show begins, at Palazzo Gran Guardia.

What does ‘The Most Italian Place on Earth’ mean?
It means entering the Arena as a guest and coming out a little more Italian: only here can you experience opera (UNESCO heritage) in a perfectly preserved Roman amphitheatre, with majestic stagings developed through centuries-old artisanal tradition, before strolling through the city of Romeo and Juliet.
