Aida for Everyone

Set in ancient Egypt, the young warrior Radamès is in love with Aida—a slave who is, in fact, an Ethiopian princess taken captive. His quest for military glory, the jealousy of Princess Amneris, and the conflict between their peoples all stand in the way of their love.

This production by Stefano Poda— referred to as “the crystal Aida” for its transparency—is symbolic, majestic, and boldly innovative: a bridge between past and future.
