Agility lirical soprano with a solid humanistic background, Francesca received her degree in piano and Opera singing from the Conservatory of Parma A. Boito, obtaining the highest grades.
Francesca was introduced to Opera singing by the soprano Licia Lumachi. In the beginning of her career, Francesca showed surprising piano abilities, which suggested a promising international career as a pianist.
However, following the guidance of the soprano Alida Ferrarini, Francesca revealed technical and expressive skills, which led her to the first professional achievements in Belcanto. Currently Francesca benefits from the expert guidance of Amarilli Nizza.
After her debut as a soloist soprano at the Teatro "Lauro Rossi" of Macerata (Carmina Burana by Carl Orff, 2009), in 2010 she interpreted Sophie in Massenet's Werther at the Teatro "Regio" of Parma.
Since then Francesca Martini has performed on behalf of important organizations in recitals and performances around Italy as well as abroad.
In October 2013, she made her debut in Beijing during the Beijing Music Festival. In the coming months, Francesca Martini will appear on the stage of both American continents. She was a guest at the Teatro Filarmonico di Verona in May 2013 in occasion of a Galà Lirico, promoted by the Verona Lirica Cultural Association.
