
Former Solo Clarinestist at Orchestra Sinfonica in Rome, he won several International Awards, both as a soloist and with the Duo Alban Berg.
In 2008, after being selected by Teatro La Fenice di Venezia, he debuted as Rodolfo in Puccini’s La Bohème at Teatro Comunale di Treviso, with further performances in Venice, Jesi and Fermo.
Since 2010 he is a member of the ensemble at Sächsische Staatsoper in Dresden, where he debuted as Don José in Bizet’s Carmen, Riccardo in Verdi’s Un Ballo in Maschera, Mario Cavaradossi in Puccini’s Tosca, Nemorino in Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’amore, Gennarino in the world première of Hans Werner Henze‘s Gisela.
He worked with conductors such as Oren, Steinberg, Luisotti, Myung Whun Chung, Barshai, Thielemann and he performed at Gewandhaus Leipzig, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Sala Glazunov in Saint Petersburg, Tel Aviv Opera, Leipzig Oper, with Budapest Philarmonie, and at Festival Pucciniano in Torre del Lago.
Most recently, he sang L’Elisir d’Amore, La Bohème, Madama Butterfly and Un Ballo in Maschera in Dresden, La Bohème at Teatro Regio in Turin and at La Fenice in Venice.
Future plans include: La Bohème at Deutsche Oper in Berlin, in Kansas City and in Budapest, Simon Boccanegra at la Scala and in Dresden with M° Thielemann, Madama Butterfly and La Vestale in Dresden, Nabucco at Arena di Verona, L’Elisir d’Amore in Florence, Rigoletto in Japan in tournée with La Scala, Puccini’s Messa da Requiem in Valencia, Il Flauto Magico in Turin, Rigoletto and La Traviata in Seoul.
