Olga Peretyatko

Soprano voice of exceptional beauty, large extension, homogeneity of register and perfection of emission, great mastery of high notes and a special dramatic talent, Olga Peretyatko is one of the most remarkable artists among the sopranos of the last generation.

Born in St. Petersburg, she studied in her native city and, since 2002, in Berlin. She took part in and won several competitions, while from 2005 to 2007 she has been a member of the Opera Studio at the Hamburg State Opera.

Probably the turning point of her career is Le Rossignol directed by Le Page and staged at the International Festival of Aix-en-Provence and in a successful world tour.

Worldwide Olga Peretyatko is known as an absolute specialist of Belcanto tradition, from Giulietta of I Capuleti e Montecchi to Fiorilla of Il turco in Italia, from Adina of L'elisir d'amore to Lucia di Lammermoor, and many other roles that she has performed in the most prestigious stages of the world.

In 2012 she made her debut in the title role of Mathilde di Shabran at the Rossini Opera Festival, and then she played Adina in Lausanne and at the Deutsche Oper, in Berlin. She made her debut as Elvira in I puritani in Lyon and Paris, and as Giunia in Lucio Silla, in Salzburg.

In April 2013 she is Gilda in Rigoletto at the Staatsoper Wien and in Summer she performs the same role at the Arena di Verona.

In Fall 2013 she will be Zerbinetta in Hamburg and she will make her debut as Marfa in The Tsar's Bride at the Staatsoper in Berlin (in the same production that will reach Milan at the Teatro alla Scala in 2014). In 2014 she will perform at the MET interpreting I puritani and she will play Fiorilla of Il turco in Italia, in Munich and Aix.
