Alexander Vinogradov 

Born in Moscow in 1976, he made his debut at the Bolshoi Theatre at the age of twenty one as Oroveso. A winner of numerous competitions he has started a successful career performing in the most important international theatres, including Covent Garden in London, Teatro alla Scala, Staatsoper in Berlin, Opéra National de Paris, Teatro Real de Madrid, Washington Opera, Teatro La Fenice in Venice and Teatro Regio di Parma. He worked with such conductors as Daniel Barenboim, Myung-Whun Chung, Lawrence Foster, Mariss Jansons, Vladimir Jurowski, Lorin Maazel, Kent Nagano and Helmuth Rilling, performing such roles as Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Leporello (Don Giovanni), Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte), Don Fernando (Fidelio), Don Basilio (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Oroveso (Norma), Colline (La bohème), Timur (Turandot), Escamillo (Carmen), Mefistofele (Faust), Ramfis (Aida). Conte di Walter (Luisa Miller), Banquo (Macbeth), Padre Guardiano (La forza del destino), Daland (Der Fliegende Holländer), Truffaldino (Ariadne auf Naxos). His recent engagements have included Roméo et Juliette (Frère Laurent) at the Teatro alla Scala, I due Foscari (Jacopo) at the Teatro Verdi di Trieste, The Tzar's Bride at the RHO Covent Garden in London, Turandot at the Los Angeles Opera, Verdi’s Messa da Requiem at the Wiener Staatsoper with the Orchestra of Teatro alla Scala, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Norma, Die Zauberflöte at the Staatsoper in Berlin, Der Fliegende Hollaender in Lisbon and Il barbiere di Siviglia at the San Diego Opera.
