Enzo Peroni approaches to the study coached by M°Angelo Casertano. When he was young he performed concert activities with an extensive repertoire ranging from Sacred music to Chamber music, Opera and Neapolitan classic music. Mr. Peroni collaborated with important conductors.
He subsequently appeared in many roles in prestigious theatres such as Pong in Trieste’s Teatro Verdi’s Turandot, with “Complessi Triestini” then goes on tour in Japan with Lucia di Lammermoor (Arturo) and performed Edmondo in Manon Lescaut, Abdallo in Nabucco and Steuermann in Der fliegende Holländer. He interpreted “Innkeeper” in Der Rosenkavalier, Schmidt in Werther and Arturo in a recent Lucia di Lammermoor at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa under the baton of Daniel Oren. He was Tybalt in Roméo et Juliette and Remendado in Carmen at Teatro Verdi in Salerno.
He was also Borsa in Rigoletto at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome; he performed Spoletta in Puccini's Tosca at Teatro Massimo V. Bellini in Catania. He sang Abdallo in Nabucco and Don Riccardo in Ernani at the Fondazione Arturo Toscanini of Parma. Since 2003 he has been engaged in lyrical seasons of the Arena di Verona where he has performed Un Messaggero in Aida, Abdallo in Nabucco and Pong in Turandot.
Further, with the Israel Philharmonic took part in performances in concert form for Rigoletto (Borsa) and Madama Butterfly (Goro) in the city of Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa. Recent engagements have been Les vêpres siciliennes at the Teatro San Carlo of Naples (role of Thibault), conducted by Gianluigi Gelmetti.
Recent highlights also include the role of Un Messaggero of the Aida at the Arena di Verona and in Milan’s Teatro alla Scala. He also performed Ruiz in Il Trovatore and Flavio in Norma in Salerno.
