Sabina Willeit was born in Bolzano in 1973 and studied at the "Claudio Monteverdi" Conservatorio. She participated in various International and European Concerts among which the Rovereto "Riccardo Zandonai" Contest, the "Neue Stimmen" Contest in Gütersloh in Germany and the "As.Li.Co." Competition; she attended master classes with Renata Scotto, Mirella Freni, Claudio Desderi, Bob Kettelson and Rockwell Blake.
Sabina Willeit's repertoire ranges from an operatic to a liederistic and oratorio field, in collaboration with important Orchestras such as the Teatro Carlo Felice Orchestra in Genoa, the Haydn Orchestra in Bolzano, the Filarmonici Orchestra in Bologna, the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen Orchestra and the Pomeriggi Musicali Orchestra of Milan.
Ms. Willeit was a guest of the "Cantiere Internazionale d'arte di Montepulciano", where she exhibited in Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and in Vivaldi's Gloria, conducted by Rodolfo Bonucci. Recently she participated in a Gala Concert in Germany with the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen Orchestra conducted by Johannes Wildner and the soprano Montserrat Caballé.
Sabina Willeit's first debut took place in 1996 at the Teatro Comunale in Cagliari in Faust by Gounod and in Giocatore by Cherubini. In 2000 she performed in La Traviata at the Teatro Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence conducted by Zubin Mehta and, in the same year, she made her debut in Così fan tutte by Mozart and in Götterdämmerung by Wagner conducted by Gustav kuhn, for the occasion of the Tiroler Festspiele in Austria.
In 2001 she interpreted Meg in Falstaff by Verdi for the occasion of the "Opera Domani" cultural initiative and Romeo in Capuleti e Montecchi by Bellini for the occasion of the Ravenna Festival. She also sang in Clemenza di Tito in Cremona, Brescia, Como, Pisa and Ravenna, directed by Pierluigi Pizzi; the exhibition was repeated in the autumn of 2002 at the Theatre in Vichy and in Paris. The same year she sang in the Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini conducted by Kuhn in different cities in Austria. Recently she made her debut in Les Contes d'Hoffmann by Offenbach and soon she will make her debut at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome in Italiana in Algeri by Rossini.
