Francesco Grollo studied with Maestros Barbon, Corelli, Kettelson and Gibellato. In 1993 he made his debut in Slovenia in La Traviata, and following this, he went on tour to Belgium. In 1995 he sang in Rigoletto at the Teatro Verdi in Padova in the role of the Duke of Mantova, which he peformed again in France and in Spain. In 1996 he played Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Rodolfo in La Bohème and Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor. In the same year he made his debut in Switzerland in La Traviata.
Grollo was invited to sing at different Italian theatres in 1997 where he sang in Madama Butterfly and, in 1998, he appeared in Rigoletto in Canada and in Busseto (Verdi's home town). Thereafter he sang in Nabucco in Bonn, in Roberto Devereux in Naples and Zurich, in La Bohème in Copenhagen and in Madama Butterfly and La Bohème in Teramo. In coming operatic seasons he will be performing in many prestigious national theatres. For example in Madama Butterfly in the Teatro Regio in Turin, in La Bohème in the Teatro Massimo in Palermo and in La Rondine in the Teatro dell'Opera in Roma.
