Carlo Striuli studied singing with Mario del Monaco and specialized with Marcello del Monaco and Ettore Compogalliani.
He won prizes in the following Competitions: 'Battistini', 'Viotti' and 'I Nuovi del Carlo Felice' in Genoa.
He was chosen by Luciano Pavarotti, following the Pavarotti 'Voice Competition' in Philadelphia, to sing alongside him in La Bohème
, both in the Teatro dell'Opera in Genoa and the Tour in Peking in 1986.
He has performed in: Tel-Aviv, the Arena in Cesarea, in Aida

He has sung in the most important Italian Theatres.
He participated in the tour of the Arena di Verona in: Tokyo, 1989 and 1991 with Aida

In the 2006 summer opera festival at the Arena he will perform the part of uncle Bonzo in Madama Butterfly
