Graduated in stage design at the Accademia of Bologna, in 2002 he won the first prize for this section at the third National Contest of Accademie di Belle Arti.
He has started his training with Teatro Ragazzi.
For many seasons, he has cooperated as a performer stage designer and a prop man with the Teatro Sociale di Rovigo.
He has worked for many private laboratories at the stage design of musical and prose plays, among which Moni Ovadia’s “Mercante di Venezia".
He has signed the scenery design of prose plays such as “Musi Neri”, “Le cose mute” “Vulnerabili” for the Zelda company.
He has designed the sceneries for the ballets “Presto Lento Presto” and “Pulcinella” for the Fabula Saltica company debuting at the Teatro Goldoni in Venice.
He has worked as a stage designer assistant with Ivan Stefanutti for the operas “Bohème”, “Rigoletto”, “Luisa Miller”, “Carmen” and “Simon Boccanegra”, the latter being the season opener at the Ungarian State Opera House of Budapest.
He has recently ideated the scene design for the prose play “Bedros” by and with Filippo Tognazzo, and for the operas “Rigoletto” and “Traviata” directed by Federico Bertolani, all of this plays included in Operaestate Festival Veneto.
In October 2012 he has created the scene setting for the “Maria Stuarda” at the Teatro Donizetti for the Bergamo Musica Festival and in December 2012 for the “Don Giovanni” closing event at the Bassano Operafestival. Both operas are directed by Federico Bertolani and the costumes are designed by Manuel Pedretti.
