She studied singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz and Vienna, where she obtained a Master in 2005. In her career Sanya Anastasia was a finalist and winner of many international competitions including: "Gioventù Musicale", Serbia (2003) "Vincenzo Bellini" and "Enrico Caruso", Italy (2004) "Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg", Germany (2007).
She began her career with opera productions at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz and Vienna Volksoper. She has participated in many international festivals in Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Macedonia and Japan. In 2007 Anastasia debuted in the role of Isabella in L'Italiana in Algeri by Rossini at the Macedonian National Opera in Skopje. In the same year she made her debut as Santuzza in the Slovenian National Theatre of Maribor (Maestra Karen Kamensek).
In the 2008/2009 season she made her big debut as Amneris (Aida) and Erodiade (Salomé) in the theater of Aachen in Germany (director Markus R. Bosch), followed by a new Amneris in Aida at the Open Air Festival Gars am Kamp and at the Salzburg Festival with the Prague State Opera (director G. Croci) in Austria. Than Carmen at the National Theatre in Košice in Slovakia and the National Opera of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo where she has also become a permanent guest artist.
In the season 2009/10 Anastasia made her debut as Johanna in Johanna d'Arc of the Tchaikovsky Theatre of Erfurt in Germany (director Valery Rywkin) and as Ulrica in Verdi's Un ballo in maschera at the Theatre of Würzburg. Immediately after Anastasia sang again in the role of Carmen at the Opera de Sabadell in Spain (director E. Orciuolo) and later in Austria at the Steyr festival with the director N. Muus. With her interpretation of Carmen with the Turkish State Opera under the direction of A. Pirolli at Aspendos Festival in 2010 Anastasia excited the public.
In the season 2010/11 Anastasia made her debut as Judith in Barbablù by B. Bartok and as Witch in Dido and Aeneas by Henry Purcell at the Theatre of Bremerhaven and at the State Theatre in Bremen, Germany. Anastasia in the 2011-2012 season sang at the Opera House in Mainz, Germany, where she became deeply involved in the roles of Ulrica (Un ballo in maschera), Lucretia in Il ratto di Lucrezia by Benjamin Britten and Mescaline in Le Grand Macabre by G. Ligeti. During 2012 - 2013 Anastasia debuted as Clytemnestra in Elektra of R. Strauss, Kurfürstin in The Prince of Homburg by Henze, as Olga in Onegin at the Opera in Mainz and also debuted at the State Theatre of Saarbrücken.
In the role of Ulrica (Un ballo in maschera) Anastasia debuted with great success at the Theater Basel (Switzerland). She participated in the role of Amneris in Aida at the Festival La Perla, Pfäffikon, Zurich. She will also be at the Centennial Festival at the Arena di Verona in summer 2013. In addition to the operatic repertoire, Anastasia has a strong link with the concert repertoire. She has performed in works by various composers such as Schubert, Schumann, Rachmaninov, de Falla, Prokofiev, Pergolesi, Mahler, Mozart, Beethoven, Bruckner, Verdi, and many others. Anastasia has worked with the Slovenian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Moscow Philharmonic (M ° Y. Simonov), Belgrade Radio Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra Begrado and Brandenburg. In May 2012, Anastasia participated in the Gala concert in Verona (S. Zeno Concert / Director Varas T. Gallardo). In September 2012 Anastasia opened the concert season in Belgrade with the Belgrade Philharmonic. She has sung in Onegin in Mainz, in Un Ballo in Maschera in Basel, Mozart's Requiem and Miss C-Dur in Belgrade with the choir and the orchestra of the Radio Symphony Orchestra in Prokofiev's Alexander Nevsky with the Philharmonia Moskva, 8. Symphony by Mahler with the Belgrade Filharmonie, 9. Symphony by Beethoven with the chorus and the Slovenian Philharmonic, 1. Bernstein's Symphony with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Belgrade and Verdi's Requiem March 2013 April, May, Onegin Mainz, Basel’s Ballo in Maschera, Prince of Homburg by Mainz, Carmen Seraievo, etc..
In December 2011 she opened the Gala Concert with Zoran Todorovic and Zeljko Lucic for Radio Television Serbia. In March 2012, she sang in Carmen for Radio Television Sarajevo. For the CD/DVD- registration Deutsches Radio SWR (German Radio) of the "Prince of Homburg".
