Born in Palermo, Adriana Di Paola, graduated with honor in singing at the Conservatoire in Trapani. Actually she is specializing at the Accademia Chigiana with Renata Scotto. She distinguished herself in important International Contests such as: “G. Di Stefano Contest”; “Ritorna vincitor" ; Comunità Europea di Spoleto competition. She specialized with Simone Alaimo.She made her debut in 1998 in Giordano’s Fedora in Palermo, she was soloist in Bregovic’s La crociata dei fanciulli at the Palermo Festival. It is particularly interesting her collaboration with the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, where in the last seasons she performed: Amahl e i visitatori notturni (role title) by Menotti; Tosca (Pastorello); Britten’s L'arca di Noè (Comare).In 2003 she is Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro opposite Simone Alaimo and in 2004 she sung Flora in La Traviata at the American Festival 2004, a project of the Conservatoire in Palermo in collaboration with the “University Minnesota-Duluth”.Active also on the concert side she has performed in Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, Vivaldi’s Beatus Vir and Gloria, Rossini’s Petite messe solennelle, Betta’s Lettere di guerra e di morte with the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana di Palermo and a series of concerts under the baton of Alberto Veronesi.She appeared in Gianni Schicchi (Zita) ; as Maddalena and Modestina in Il Viaggio a Reìms at the Accademia Santa Cecilia in Rome
under the baton of Kent Nagano; as Ninetta in I Vespri Siciliani in Festival Verdi in Parma (2010). She took the role of Curra in La Forza del Destino, for the opening night season at the Teatro Regio in Parma under the baton of Gianluigi Gelmetti. In concert she performed Rossini’s Petite messe solemnelle under Michele Campanella
with the Accademia Santa Cecilia in Rome. She recently performed Massa di Santa Cecilia in L’Aquila; Mozart’s Requiem in Rome; Amelia al ballo at the Festival dei due Mondi in Spoleto; Il Viaggio a Reims at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro .
