
Born in Udine (Italy), Annamaria dell’Oste studied at the Jacopo Tomadini Conservatoire and at the Arrigo Boito Conservatoire in Parma under the guidance of Jenny Anvelt. After her debut at Teatro alla Scala in 1994 with Monteverdi’s
L’Incoronazione di Poppea under M. Zedda, Annamaria dell’Oste proved to have outstanding vocal and performing qualities.
She performed in most of Italian and European Opera Houses and Festivals under worldwide known conductors such as Roberto Abbado, Marco Armiliato, Maurizio Benini, Fabio Biondi, Alan Curtis, Ottavio Dantone, Daniele Gatti, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Jesus Lopez-Cobos, Zubin Mehta, Stven Mercurio, Riccardo Muti, Gianandrea Noseda, Antonio Pappano, Evelino Pidò, Stefano Ranzani, Donato Renzetti, Corrado Rovaris, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Alberto Zedda and directors such as Henning Brokhaus, Robert Carsen, Dario Fo, Denis Krief, Pierluigi Pizzi, Luca Ronconi, Fabio Sparvoli and Graham Vick.

Les Contes d’Hoffmann in Cordoba and she then made her debut as Matilde in Rossini’s
La Regina Elisabetta in Bruxelles, Amsterdam, Paris and Luxemburg and performed as Florinda in Handel’s
Rodrigo at the Lufthansa Festival of Baroque Music in London. She also performed in
La Rondine at Teatro Verdi in Trieste and as Sophie in a new production of Strauss’
Der Rosenkavalier at Teatro dell’Opera in Rome.
After performing as Norina in
Don Pasquale under M.Campanella in Naples in 2009, she performed as Gilda in Verdi’s
Rigoletto at Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and at Teatro Regio in Turin; in 2010 she performed as Marguerite in Gounod’s
Faust at Teatro Bellini in Catania, as Musetta in Puccini’s
La Bohème at Teatro Massimo in Palermo, as Adina in
Elisir d’amore at Teatro Verdi in Trieste, as Farnaspe in
Adriano in Siria at Festival Pergolesi-Spontini in Jesi and as Violetta at Teatro Comunale in Bologna.
She took part in Pergolesi’s
Olimpiade that determined the beginning of season 2011 at San Carlo Felice in Naples and as Violetta in
La Traviata at Teatro lirico di Cagliari. Her last engagement was at Festival Torre del Lago Puccini as Musetta in Puccini’s
La Bohème.
