MEZZO SOPRANO 

Born in Novara, she made her debut at the Teatro Regio in Turin. She appears regularly in some of the most prestigious venues in the world including: La Scala, Montecarlo, Verona, Genoa, Venice, Salzburg, Istanbul, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Detroit, Dallas, Rome, Paris, Seville, Pesaro, London, Granada, Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Cordoba, Palma de Mallorca, Tenerife, Florence, Leipzig, Wien, San Sebastian in a wide repertoire raging from baroque music (Incoronazione di Poppea, Orlando furioso, Giustino, Griselda, Tamerlano, Didone), to Italian belcanto (Barbiere di Siviglia, Cenerentola, Capuleti e Montecchi, Tancredi, Italiana in Algeri, Anna Bolena) to contemporary composers.
She has been conducted, among others, by: John Eliot Gardiner, Riccardo Chailly, Richard Bonynge, Andrea Marcon, Gianandrea Noseda, Giualiano Carella, Jesus Lopez-Cobos, Fabio Luisi, Claudio Scimone, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Marco Guidarini, Fabio Biondi, Christophe Rousset, Marcello Viotti, Salvatore Accardo, Aldo Ceccato, Renato Palumbo, etc… and directed by: Graham Vick, Robert Carsen, Luca Ronconi, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Daniele Abbado, Hugo De Ana, Dario Fo, etc…
Her extensive discography includes complete operas and recitals for Opera Rara, Naïve, Warner Fonit, Virgin Classics, Dynamic, Tactus, Bongiovanni.
Among her future engagements: Incoronazione di Poppea (Ottavia) in Jerez and Verdi’s Falstaff at La Scala in Milan directed by Rober Carsen.
