
Aldo Bottion was born in Venice. He studied singing with Maestro Malocchi in Pesaro.
He has performed, as lead tenor, in the most important international theatres: the Metropolitan in New York, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Teatro dell'Opera in Rome, Caracalla, Staatsoper in Vienna, Berlin, Carnegie Hall, Teatro Comunale in Florence, San Carlo in Naples, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, San Francisco, Breghenz, the Arena di Verona etc.
During his career he has collaborated with prestigious orchestra conductors such as: Karajan, Votto, Capuana, Giulini, Barbirolli, Gavazzeni, Maazel, Bartoletti, Mehta and many others.
Over the past few years he has dedicated his time to the character tenor repertoire. Recently he participated in important productions of
Turandot in the Forbidden City, Peking (Conductor Maestro Mehta, Director Zang Ymou), broadcast live all over the world, in the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, the Teatro San Carlo in Naples and the Arena di Verona.
