Marco Vinco has rapidly established an international career performing regularly on some among the world’s most prestigious concert stages and opera houses including Teatro alla Scala, Covent Garden, Teatro Real in Madrid, Deutsche Oper in Berlin, Salzburg Festival, Edinburgh Festival, Teatro São Carlos in Lisbon, Opéra de Montecarlo, Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse, Teatro de La Maestranza in Seville, Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo, Festival Mozart de La Coruña, Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Teatro Comunale in Florence, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Teatro Regio in Torino, Teatro San Carlo in Napoli, Teatro Filarmonico in Verona.
He worked with such conductors as Daniele Gatti, Gianluigi Gemetti, Nicola Luisotti, Zubin Metha, Marc Minkowski, Riccardo Muti, Alberto Zedda and with stage directors as Robert Carsen, Dario Fo, Mario Martone, Pierluigi Pizzi, Gigi Proietti, Luca Ronconi, Toni Servillo and Franco Zeffirelli. He recorded for Decca, Opera Rara, Dynamic, Naxos, Tdk.
His recent engagements have included L’italiana in Algeri (Mustafà) at the Opéra National de Paris, Rossini’s Otello in Lion, La Bohème (Colline) at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville and in Florence, Don Giovanni (Leporello) in San Francisco and Il burbero di buon cuore (Dorval) in Barcelona.
