Graziano Polidori was born in Mozzano, Lucca in Italy on August 5th, 1951. He obtained a diploma in singing from the Conservatorio Luigi Boccherini of Lucca. He studied at the Centro di perfezionamento (centre for perfecting the voice) for lyrical artists of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. He won various competitions: Anal Nazionale (Palermo 1971, 1972, 1973), A. Belli (Spoleto 1977), Città di Adria (Rovigo 1980), Laboratorio lirico internazionale (Alessandria 1980), New voices for opera (Teatro regio Turin 1980), International opera competition (Verviers - Belgium 1981), Toti Dal Monte (Treviso 1981).
He has sung in the most important theatres in Italy and Europe: La Scala in Milan, the Arena di Verona, the Teatro Regio in Turin, the Teatro Comunale in Florence, the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, the Teatro Verdi in Trieste, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Teatro Municipale in Piacenza, the Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona, the Teatro Grande in Brescia, the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome, the Teatro Greco in Taormina, the Teatro del Festival Pucciniano in Torre Del Lago (LU), the Roman Amphitheatre in Cagliari.
Graziano Polidori has performed in cities like: Vienna, Paris, Geneva, Sofia, Dortmund, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Bern, Varna, Casablanca, Rabat, Malta, Ludwigshafen, Saarbruchen, Lyon, Le Mans. by Strauss in the role of Franck at the Teatro dell'Opera of Rome; and will perform in La Bohème
at the Teatro Regio in Turin.
He took part in the film La vita di Puccini for ORF (Austria) singing with Pavarotti, Domingo, Carreras and Freni.
