Mario Ceroli 
He was born into a theatrical family and his father was one of the major tenor utilitèes of the '60s and '70s. He began to study opera singing as a baritone under the guidance of his parents. Then he studied with tenor Pier Miranda Ferraro and then went on to study as a tenor with Maestra Teresa Perdoncin.

He made his debut in Tosca at the Maribor theatre in 1995, and then in Pagliacci and Andrea Chénier, in the same theatre.

He performed the role of Radames in Aida in a concert version for "settimane musicali adriatiche fra Iesolo e Cattolica" in 1998 which was very successful with the public and critics.

He took part in many tv shows as a tenor; his past engagements include Otello in a production staged in Modena; the artistic manager of Palm Beach Opera Maestro Anton Guadagno, after an audition, expressed a positive opinion, and asked him to perform in Fedora and Otello.

He performed in Otello by Verdi in Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

He made his debut in the role of Luigi in Il Tabarro by Puccini at the Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo.

He took part in the production of I Due Foscari by Verdi for Teatro alla Scala at Teatro degli Arcimboldi in Milan.

His recent engagements included his participation in the tour in Japan with Teatro alla Scala in the productions of I Due Foscari and Macbeth.

His future engagements include performances at the Teatro degli Arcimboldi for the opening production of the 2003-2004 season with Moise et Pharaon by Rossini; then at the Teatro Filarmonico of Verona he will perform in Norma by Bellini.
