Former Solo Clarinetist at Orchestra Sinfonica in Rome, he won several International Awards, both as a soloist and with the Duo Alban Berg.
In 2007 he started his vocal studies and after a few months he was selected by Teatro La Fenice di Venezia as Rodolfo in Puccini’s La Bohème, with further performances in Treviso, Jesi and Fermo.
From 2010 to 2013 he was a member of the ensemble at Sächsische Staatsoper in Dresden, where he debuted as Don José in Bizet’s Carmen, Riccardo in Verdi’s Un Ballo in Maschera, Mario Cavaradossi in Puccini’s Tosca, Nemorino in Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’amore, Duca di Mantova in Verdi's Rigoletto, Gennarino in the world première of Hans Werner Henze‘s Gisela.
He worked with conductors such as Mehta, Thielemann, Luisi, Dudamel, Oren, Steinberg, Luisotti, Myung Whun Chung, van Zweden, Barshai, and he performed at Gewandhaus Leipzig, NHK in Tokyo in tournée with La Scala, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Arena di Verona, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Wigmore Hall in London, Teatro Comunale in Florence, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Palais des Beaux Arts in Bruxelles, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova, Teatro Regio in Turin, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Sala Glazunov in St. Petersburg, Dallas Meyerson Hall, Kansas City Opera, Tel Aviv Opera, Leipzig Oper, Bartok National Hall in Budapest, Festival Pucciniano in Torre del Lago.
Future plans include: La Bohème in Oviedo, Palermo and San Francisco, L’Elisir d’amore in Naples, Les contes d’Hoffmann in Piacenza, Modena and Reggio Emilia, Simon Boccanegra at La Scala and in Dresden with M° Thielemann, Tosca in Marseille, Der Rosenkavalier at the Royal Opera House in London, La Traviata in Berlin, a new production of La Bohème in Amsterdam, I Capuleti e I Montecchi at Klangvokal Festival in Dortmund, Madama Butterfly at Savonlinna Festival, Verdi’s Requiem at Musikverein in Graz.
