Born in Treviso, graduating with a Vocal Degree from Venice Music Conservatory B. Marcello, while contemporarily gaining a First Honors Degree in Literature and Philosophy respectively. After undertaking diverse formative pathways with Mirella Freni at CUBEC, Vignola, Roberto Scandiuzzi, Richard Barker (Higher Formative Opera Vocal Course-Theatres Spa. Treviso, Fenice and Asolo Musica), Alida Ferrarini, Alain Garichot (Chapelle Reine Elisabeth of Waterloo Belgium), Alfonso Antoniozzi (Aslico Como) and at present perfecting with Cristina Orsolato.
Zanettin has received numerous awards and acknowledgements from different International Operatic Contests, amoung which include “ Martinelli Pertile”, “Ottavio Ziino”, “ Capri Opera Competition," “Iris Adami Corradetti”, “ Toti dal Monte” and “Armel Opera Competition”.
Following her first appearance at the Fenice Opera House in 1994 as white voice in the ‘Damnation de Faust’ conducted by Georges Prêtre, she made her debut in the “Flauto Magico” (Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza), “La Traviata” (Venezia Salsomaggiore Carpi Fidenza), “La Bohéme” (Venezia), Vivaldi’s “Magnificat”, Mozart’s “Exultate Jubilate”, “Così fan tutte” (Venezia), “Pagliacci” (Fidenza , Carpi e Piacenza), Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 (Thèatre Massenet Saint Etienne), and performed at the Teatri Regio (Torino), Alfieri (Asti), Comunale (Vicenza), Teatro Accademia (Castelfranco), Auditorium (Zargoza) and the Sala Ajace (Udine).
Montserrat Caballé’s 2011 only Italian contest finalist, also winner of the International Opera Competition and Poesia in Verona, where she will be Aida next season at the Teatro Filarmonico, Verona.
Performed as a finalist at the 50mo Voci Verdiane contest (Busseto).
