Born in Bologna, she began her vocal studies with Luana Pellegrineschi and perfected her technique with tenor William Matteuzzi. She made her diploma in music at the «Arrigo Boito» conservatory in Parma.
In 2004 she won the As.Li.Co Singing Competition in Milan and performed thereupon the role of Charlotte in Massenet's Werther.
Her past operatic engagements include Marchesa Melibea in Il Viaggio a Reims at the Teatro Municipale Piacenza, Theatre Real Madrid, Teatro Rossini Lugo, Teatro Verdi Busseto, Charlotte in Werther at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, Messaggera in De L'Ombre Eterne at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Modena, Reggio Emilia and Ferrara, Zita in Gianni Schicchi for the Circuito Lirico Lombardo; Suzy/Lolette in La Rondine , Pippo in La Gazza Ladra and Suzuki in Madama Butterfly at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Nutrice in L’Incoronazione di Poppea at the theatres Campoamor Oviedo and Arriaga in Bilbao, Mrs McLean in Susannah by C. Floyd at the ABAO Palacio Euskalduna Jauregia Bilbao, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni at the Festival «Settimane Musicali» (Teatro Olimpico) Vicenza, Geltrude in Il Noce di Benevento, Dorina in Ser Marcantonio and Ismene in Siège de Corinthe at the Rossini Festival in Wildbad and Isabella in Rossini's Italiana in Algeri at the Teatro Campoamor Oviedo, Cleofe in Händel's Resurrezione with Lautten Compagney in Berlin, at the Lux et Terra Festival and at the Händel Festpiele Halle, Margarita in Wolf-Ferrari's I Quattro Rusteghi with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
Intense is also her concert activity including Mozart’s Requiem at the Cathedral of Ferrara; Hermia in A Midsummer night's dream by B. Brittens conducted by Jonathan Webb and directed by Lindsay Kemp in the theaters of Pisa, Lucca and Livorno, Pergolesi's Stabat Mater at the Church of San Giovanni in Monte in Bologna and Mozart’s Mass K337 at the Auditorium of Santa Cecilia in Rome.
Among her future engagements: Amneris in Aida at the Teatro Filarmonico Verona, Quickly in Falstaff at the Opera of Graz, Flora in La Traviata at the Teatro Regio Turin and Isabella in L’ Italiana in Algeri at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Beijing.
