Federico Colli is the 1st Prize Winner with Special Prize "Madame Fukuda" (the only Italian in the history of the Competition) at the Mozart International Piano Competition 2011 in Salzburg. In the final round (recorded by Austrian broadcaster ORF-Sendung), held in the Great Hall of the Mozarteum, he has played with the Camerata Salzburg conducted by Denis Russell Davies. In 2008, he won (the only Italian in the history of the Competition) the 1st Absolute Prize with Special Prizes at the International Piano and Orchestra Competition City of Cantù (Italy) playing with the Bacau Philharmonic Orchestra directed by Ovidiu Balan, and in 2009 he won the Special Prize "Educational Award" at the London International Piano Competition, performing in the Duke's Hall of the Royal Academy and in the Purcell Room of the Southbank Centre. He performs both in Italy and abroad as a soloist, with Orchestra and in Chamber Music (cello and piano). Paszkovski, Marek Mos, Heribert Beissel, Pier Carlo Orizio e Roman Kofman. He was taken over by Mediaset and recorded by RAI Radio 3 and the Slovenian National Radio.
With the label Azzurra Music and the Music Publishing Michelangeli, he recorded a chamber CD (cello and piano) with music by Schumann, Brahms and Debussy, distributed as an annex with the Suonare News Magazine; furthermore, at Salburg Mozarteum, produced by Tonstudio Universität Mozarteum, he recorded a solo CD with music by Mozart, Beethoven and Ravel. Born in Brescia in 1988, he studied with Giancarlo Facchinetti, and with Sergio Marengoni at the European Academy Foundation R. Romanini of Brescia, achieving in 2005, with a score of 10 and praise, the Diploma in piano at the “G. Verdi” Conservatory in Milan. He later received the Leaving Certificate at the High Musical School "V. Gambara" of Brescia. Currently, he is studying with Boris Petrushansky at the Incontri col Maestro Academy in Imola and with Konstantin Bogino at the St. Cecilia Academy of Bergamo. He has participated in masterclasses and lessons with M. Rybicki, R. Cappello, R. Zadra, E. Virsaladze, J. O'Conor, N. Trull, F. Scala, P. Gililov and P. Gulda. He collaborates in Chamber Music with the cellist Alberto Casadei (Rimini, 1987), which won the 1st Prize with Special Prize at the International Chamber Music Competition Gaetano Zinetti 2009 of Mantua and Verona. It was awarded with the Banner Prize and the Big Silver Prize as Musician of the year 2011, for representing foreign the talent of his city and giving prestige to the city of Brescia.
