Born in Savona, he makes his debut at Spalato as Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor. He immediately starts a shining career which brings him to perform in the most prestigeous opera houses in Italy: Regio di Parma, La Scala (Don Giovanni with Muti), Carlo Felice in Genova, Comunale in Florence and Bologna, Rome Opera (Adriana with Oren, Pagliacci, Zauberflöte, Massenet's Jongleur de Notre Dame, the world premiere of Respighi's Marie Victoire, Barbiere di Siviglia, Così fan tutte, Pelleas et Melisande, all conducted by Gelmetti) and abroad: Maestranza in Seville, Champs Elysèes in Paris (Barbiere), Opèra de Montecarlo, Teatro Municipal de Santiago, Bolshoi in Moscow, Bunka Kaikan and NHK di Tokyo, Greek National Opera (Comte Ory).
He has been invited to many important festivals such as ROF in Pesaro (Corghi's Isabella) and the Wexford Festival, as well as prestigeous concert halls like: Santa Cecilia (European premiere of Bacalov's Misa Tango conducted by Chung and Mussorgskij's Bethrodal), Wiener Konzerthaus, Amsterdam Concertgebouw (Gianni Schicchi conducted by Chailly), Fondazione Gulbenkian in Lisbon, Settimane musicali di Stresa and Lingotto in Turin (La Bohéme with Noseda).
His concert repertoire includes: Schumann's Liederkreis at Comunale in Modena, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, Donizetti's Requiem, Brahms' Deutches Requiem and Puccini's Messa di Gloria.
Among his future engagements: Donizetti's Il Campanello for his debut at the Opéra de Liege.
