He graduated brilliantly at the Conservatoire of Bolzano, in February 1996 he made his debut at Teatro Comunale of Modena in “Prova di un’opera seria” by F. Gnecco (as Maestro Campanone), conductor E. Maschio and director F. Crivelli.

He improved his vocal tecnique at important music institutes such as Teatro Comunale of Modena, Accademia lirica Internazionale directed by K. Ricciarelli, Scuola di musica of Fiesole, and he took part in masters by M. Freni, R. Kabaivanska, L. Valentini Terrani, A. Pola, N. Ghiaurov, C. Desderi.

At the moment he is studying with the English bass Malcom King.

Winner of international competitions (Audizioni internazionali di Imola ’96, “W. Walton” 6th edition, A.GI.MUS di Firenze ’97), he made his debut in protagonist roles, such as: Don Bartolo, Don Pasquale, Dulcamara, Papageno, Uberto, Schaunard, Tobia Mill (La cambiale di matrimonio), Batone e Tarabotto (L’inganno felice), Don Parmenione, recorded for RAISAT, and Martino (L’occasione fa il ladro), Bruschino e Gaudenzio (Il Signor Bruschino) Gasparo (Rita), Bacocco (Il Giocatore), Vanesio (Larinda e Vanesio). He performed for important Italian and foreign music institutions such as Buxton Opera House, Festivals of Badkissingen and Ludwigsburg, Cantiere d’Arte di Montepulciano, Donizetti Festival of Bergamo, Teatro Regio of Torino, Teatro La Fenice of Venezia, Opera Comique of Paris, Teatro Sociale of Rovigo, Teatro Sociale of Mantova, Theatres of Pisa, Livorno, Lucca, Piacenza, Ravenna under the baton of Donato Renzetti, Claudio Desderi, Giancarlo Andretta, Karl Martin, Massimo Freccia, Dario Lucantoni, Renato Palumbo, Rodolfo Bonucci, Andrea Marcon, Bruno Aprea, Tiziano Severini.

He’s particularly appreciated for his actor’s skills, ha worked with such directors as Ulisse Santicchi, Italo Nunziata, Jonathan Miller, Filippo Crivelli, Maurizio Nichetti, Michele Placido, Stefano Mazzonis, Lamberto Puggelli, Hans Holmann, Jorge Lavelli, Lindsay Kemp and with singers like José Carreras, Katia Ricciarelli, Ugo Benelli, Alberto Rinaldi.

In march 2002, at Konzerthaus of Wien, he performed the roles of Bruschino and Tobia Mill conducted by M° Claudio Desderi, recorded for label Naxos. He obtained a great success by public and critics in Bernstein’s Candide, as Pangloss and Martin; then he performed Don Bartolo in Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” for the Opera Festival of Pergine.

He also took part to the production fo “Sly” by Wolf-Ferrari at Teatro dell’Opera of Rome, with Placido Domingo in the title-role.

He then took part to the production of “Tosca” by Puccini at Teatro delle Muse of Ancona and then at Teatro Filarmonico of Verona; and also to the production of “Don Carlo” by Verdi at Teatro dell’Opera of Rome.

Among his recent engagements: Dulcamara in “Elisir d’amore” by Donizetti in Seoul; Conte di Ceprano in “Rigoletto” by Verdi at Arena of Verona.

Then Steuermann in “Tristan und Isolde” by Wagner at Teatro Filarmonico of Verona; Bob Cratchit in “Incanto di Natale” by Furlani at Teatro Sociale of Rovigo.

In October 2005 sings as Masetto in Don Giovanni Tenorio ossia Il Convitato di Pietra by G. Gazzaniga at Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo.

For The Teatro La Fenice of Venice sings in Wolf-Ferrari’s I Quattro Rusteghi.

In 2007 singing the role of Dancario in Carmen at Teatro Pergolesi in Jesi and in Treviso; Fiorello in Il Barbiere di Siviglia by G. Rossini at Teatro Filarmonico in Verona.

Other engagements were in Lucrezia Borgia in Ascanio Petrucci at the Teatro Verdi in Sassari and Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo and in Brundibar – L’Histoire du Soldat in Brundibar at Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo.

In 2008 he performed in Manon Lescaut, Der Rosenkavalier and Eugene Onegin at Teatro San Carlo in Genova, in Tosca at Teatro Comunale in Modena, Piacenza and Ferrara and in Don Magnifico in Cenerentola.

In 2009 sings as Marchese D’Obigny in La Traviata at Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo and at Tokio, Visconte Cascada in La Vedova Allegra at Padova, Genova and Reggio Calabria.

Among his most recent works: Roméo et Juliette at the Verona Philharmonic Theatre, Il Filosofo di Campagna (Don Tritemio role) to Villa Deciani Tricesimo (UD), directed by Stefano Vizioli, Samson et Dalila at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste.

In 2011 he sings in Samson et Dalila at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste, La Vedova Allegra at the Teatro in Messina and Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Arena in Verona.

He had great personal success with the role of Papageno in Il Flauto Magico by W. A. Mozart at Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa and he performed Don Annibale in Il Campanello, Schaunard in La Bohème and Gianni Schicchi at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa.

He recently performed Sciarrone in Tosca by G. Puccini at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence, Benoit – Alcindoro in La Bohème by G. Puccini at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste and Il Visconte Cascada in La Vedova Allegra by F. Lehár at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste.
