Ambra Vallo 
Tänzer 
Ambra Vallo studied in prestigious Italian and foreign schools and she received her diploma in Belgium from the Ballet Royal des Flandres. She has won numerous prizes among which "Danza e danza" and "Positano" as well as national and international competitions in Houlgate, Varna, Luxembourg and Rieti.

At a very early age she began her international career as "prima ballerina" at the Opéra Royal of Wallonie and, subsequently, at the Ballet Royal des Flandres where she specialized in the balanchin repertoire. At the age of eighteen she was invited as a guest to the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome where she inaugurated the ballet season dancing the role of Kitri in Don Quixote by Minkus-Petipa.

Following an interpretation of Romeo and Juliet by Nureyev she moved to the English National Ballet as "prima ballerina".

She is currently the lead dancer at the Birmingham Royal Ballet and has already interpreted all of the roles in the classic repertoire and dance routines by David Bintley, Director of the company.

During the last few years she has performed in Giselle at the Opera House in Covent Garden and has interpreted the role of Isabella in Edward II at the City Centre Theatre in New York. She was Ginevra in Arthur in Sadler's Well in London and she danced in Far from the madding crowd in Cape Town.

Recently Ambra Vallo triumphed, together with Roberto Bolle, in Romeo and Juliet by MacMillan at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, achieving great success from the audience and the critics.

Future engagements include Giselle at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona in April/May 2003.
