Anna Rita Taliento has won numerous national and international concerts among which the prestigious "Belvedere" concert in Vienna in 1993. Subsequently she made her debut at the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto and at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna with Riccardo Chailly in the Trittico by Puccini. In 1994 she made her debut at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome in Dvorák's Requiem, at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro as the protagonist in Inganno felice and at the Teatro Regio in Turin in Orfeo ed Euridice by Gluck.
In 1996 Ms. Taliento interpreted the part of Musetta in La Bohème at the Teatro Regio in Turin, conducted by Daniel Oren, for the occasion of the celebration a hundred years of the opera alongside Luciano Pavarotti and Mirella Freni.
Between 1995 and 2001, the soprano was a guest at the most important Italian and international theatres, played a part in Moses in Egypt (Elcia) at Covent Garden in London, Carmen (Micaela) in Bologna, Il Campanello by Donizetti (Serafina) and Gianni Schicci (Lauretta) in Turin, Le Nozze di Figaro (Countess) in Lausanne, Faust by Gounod (Marguerite) and Don Giovanni (Donna Anna) in Ferrara conducted by Claudio Abbado, Don Pasquale by Donizetti in Verona and Turin, La Bohème in Turin, Naples and Florence, Dido and Aeneas by Purcell at the Teatro Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
Ms. Taliento has also been on numerous International tours to Stuttgart, Munich, Frankfurt, Osaka and Tokyo, Cordoba and Buenos Aires, Caraca, Chicago and New York.
Her rich liederistic and chamber music repertoire is of particular interest which ranges from baroque music to contemporary authors. She has also performed the Vier letzte Lieder by Strauss, lo Stabat Mater by Rossini in Oslo, Ulysses by Dallapiccola with the RAI Orchestra from Turin conducted by Luciano Berio, Bach's Cantatas with the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Carmina burana by Orff with Daniele Gatti and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Anna Rita Taliento has been a guest many times at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia where she has interpreted Mozart's Requiem, La cetra appesa by Corghi conducted by Daniele Gatti, Il Magnificat by Bach and the Te Deum by Carpentier conducted by Myung Wun Chung.
Included in her future engagements are La Bohème at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona and the 9th by Beethoven with the Seville Symphonic Orchestra, conducted by Alain Lombard.
