Carlo Striuli 
Carlo Striuli studied singing with Mario del Monaco and specialized with Marcello del Monaco and Ettore Compogalliani.
He won prizes in the following Competitions: 'Battistini', 'Viotti' and 'I Nuovi del Carlo Felice' in Genoa.

He was chosen by Luciano Pavarotti, following the Pavarotti 'Voice Competition' in Philadelphia, to sing alongside him in La Bohème, both in the Teatro dell'Opera in Genoa and the Tour in Peking in 1986.
He has performed in: Tel-Aviv, the Arena in Cesarea, in Aida; the New Israeli Opera and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in Nabucco, Simon Boccanegra, La Bohème and Manon Lescaut; Asociación Bilbaina de Amigos de la Opera (Abao) in Bilbao; Paris; Tokyo, Suntury Hall and the National Theatre (the inauguration of the Theatre in Aida, directed by Zeffirelli); Rio de Janeiro, Theatro Municipal; Moscow, Bol'soi Theatre and in many other foreign theatres.
He has sung in the most important Italian Theatres.

He participated in the tour of the Arena di Verona in: Tokyo, 1989 and 1991 with Aida and Turandot; Frankfurt, Zurich and Vienna in Nabucco.
In the 2006 summer opera festival at the Arena he will perform the part of uncle Bonzo in Madama Butterfly.
